Borne out of a desire to create and share web stuff that we’re passionate about, Makito Labs has been a long time coming. The time however is now, and boy are we happy it’s here. We now have a platform to show you all the cool ideas that we’ve been collectively nurturing over the past few years.
There’s a lot of commotion behind the scenes, but when we’re all done and dusted you’ll be sure to hear plenty about it. Join us for the ride.
So super secret that we’re breaking international law just by telling you its name. Trust us though when we say that it will revolutionise your life. Perhaps. Either way, it’s going to drop Winter 2008 and we just can’t wait to let you try it out.
Our first big app, yay! Now accepting beta signups!
A neat mini web app that we designed and developed from scratch in five days. We’re mad like that! PingMyMap takes the pain out of notifying all the search engines when you update your Sitemap. Back of the net!
Musings, insight and nonsense for web engineers and pixel pushers.
A stylish little blog that we run to help us retain a little sanity. At best it’s a handy resource for web designers and developers, at worst it allows us to obsess even more about the technologies we love. Is that such a terrible crime? Geeks shall rule the world!
When not obsessing over music or uncovering a new Illuminati conspiracy, Simon loves to play with jQuery, SVN, Macs and whitespace. Over his glittering rock star developer career Simon has worked for clients big, small, and downright awful. As of now, Simon is his own worst client. Go figure!
Alistair is a designer and developer with a love for great design, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript (particularly jQuery), Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Merb, Web Standards, Accessibility, Usability, User Interfaces and most things Web. When he's not working he can usually be found immersed in music, either DJing or producing tracks.
We’re currently hiding out in a cave in Wales to avoid the ever rampant thought police. We’d be pretty upset if they stole all our genius ideas, so it’s the only safe option. If we ever manage to shake them off we might install a phone line.
We’ve already taken the startling risk of getting a mailbox, so if you wish to drop us a quaint letter or perhaps a fortune cookie, please do.
Or perhaps you're into a bit of Interweb-speed communication? Stalk us on Twitter.
